Google Launches Tool For Easier Interactive Ad Creation

Web Designer is Google's new visual tool for building interactive HTML5 sites and ads. Currently in beta, the free system aims to enable advertisers to create HTML5 ads for mobile and desktop more easily. Available for both Mac an Windows, its features include a pen tool for drawing, a timeline for managing animations, and 3D content creator tool and pre-built components for galleries, maps and embedded YouTube videos.

There are two animation modes: Quick mode, in which desginers can build animations scene by scene, with Web Designer taking care of the frames in between, and Advanced mode, where users have more control and can animate individual elements using layers.

For ad workflow, you can choose from DoubleClick Studio or AdMob, or go for the Generic option to push content through any other ad network, with no coding required.
