Use Your iPhone Flashlight to Maneuver Around the 'Bates Motel' Website

Published on .

TVGla hooks up your phone to the computer (as we've seen done earlier here, and here) for a cool function: to let you use your phone's flashlight app to actually navigate the dark corners of the website for the series, "Bates Motel."

To get the site going, the agency shot footage of the actual set of the Bates Motel, and aligned the site based on the storyline and the theme of the show. When navigating dark rooms, the site leverage HTML5 websockets to pair your phone to the site, so you use your device as a controller to shed light on the dark rooms.
