In Israel, Kotex teamed up with creative agency Smoyz for an innovative campaign that used Pinterest to gauge consumers' style and design tastes and then send them gifts. The agency used the site to find 50 'inspiring' women and looked at their boards to find out the things they visually associated themselves with. It then created personalized, handmade giftboxes filled with items that it thought they would like, decorated in the styles that reflected their pins. The women had to re-pin the Kotex invite in order to ensure they got their box. Smoyz claims almost 100% of the women posted on social media about the gift box, resulting in almost 700,000 page impressions.
