One Laptop Per Child: Tablet

Published on .

Anyone who has an iPad and a kid knows that children love tablet PCs. So it's only fitting that the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) project, the non-profit association founded by Nicholas Negroponte (as explained by him here), has now designed a tablet PC for children in developing countries.

More than 2.4 million children in 25 countries received the original OLPC XO Laptop. The XO-3 tablet, designed by fuseproject, is likewise designed to be hard wearing, with rubber protection, anti-scratch grip textures, and robust construction - as well as a colorful green case.
