Nike Running Japan: Run Like Me

Published on .

Is this guy crazy or brilliant? Nike is working with eccentric Tokyo marathon runner Joseph Tame on an app that extends his running time according to Facebook likes, as he runs through the city drawing a picture via GPS. As JapanTrends reports, Tame "runs and tweets the Tokyo Marathon every year covered in iPhones, iPads, various measuring tools, MacBooks, diesel generators, solar panels," etc. (When he's not running marathons and inventing things Tame is a freelance digital media producer). The app, Run Like Me, will ask him to run 100m longer for every 'Like' he gets.
