Nokia: Haptic Tattoo

Published on .

File this under really, really weird. Nokia has applied for a patent for a "haptic tattoo," which will vibrate when you get an incoming message, call or notification. The tattoo can customize how it vibrates and for how long, so you can know if its a phone call that's coming in or just an email. In layman's terms, the patent is for a material that will detect a magnetic field (coming off your phone) and then transfer the stimulus to your skin, via the tattoo.
