Philips Turns Pub Tables into Music Players

iPods are great, but you can't rest your beer on one of them. Philips and Ogilvy London partner with bars in the U.K. and Germany to turn pub tables into music destinations, in a new campaign targeted at people between the ages of 18 and 24. Each handcrafted table was designed to pump out music when headphones were plugged in, and the music was inspired by illustrations carved into the table, as well as that particular neighborhood's taste in tunes. Each pub kept Philips headsets on hand, and they were also given away.
