Kids can compete with each other in a virtual playground with Britvic's Champion of the Playground, a branded online skills league. The gaming platform, created by BBH London for the Robinson's Fruit Shoot Brand, aims to merge the digital and the real worlds. The "real world' component includes 12,000 "Skills Kits," which will be given away to kids. The kits feature a kit bag, webcam and specially created digitized skipping rope and hackysack. These contain micro-chips that record a code when the child practices certain skills. The more they play, the higher they score. Kids can create a personalized profile and avatar on the Fruit Shoot website and enter the recorded codes and play more online games to receive skills points and watch themselves move up on a digital leaderboard.
