With MotionPhone, the latest iPad app from Scott Snibbe, the San Francisco based developer behind Bjork's Biophilia, multiple users can communicate using animated colors, shapes, and movement. Apple's Game Center Technology lets people connect to one another remotely and have a 'visual conversation,' using their their fingers to create animations with abstract shapes, set to music. They can share creations via Twitter and Facebook. Snibbe, who based the app on an interactive artwork that evolved from his days in college studying animation and computer science, calls the process "Visual Jamming'. MotionPhone is available for $4.99 in the app store.
