WCRS teamed up with Tool director Jason Zada and Mustard Films to bring drivers behind the wheel of the brand's i3 e-vehicle via 360-degree interactive film. Available to consumers in Europe over Apple and Android mobile and tablets, the short films invites consumers play the role of a driver, on a high-octane quest to save the world. The film was shot in 360 degrees with 360-degree sound, and features hotspots whereby users can disover more details about the vehicle.

To create the experience, Tool developers projected the film on a sphere, using OpenGL. Other elements like background music, dialogue and ambient sound were then incorporated in layers via OpenAL, making for an adaptive sounscape that changes bsed on the user's directional interaction.
