Turkish Airlines Brings Shark Tank To The Skies

Business travelers on planes are something of a captive audience (without phone calls and the rest to distract them), so Turkish Airlines has decided to match them to entrepreneurs keen for investment, by entertaining them with video pitches from startups. Starting this December, the airline's entertainment touchscreen will feature interactive videos from 11 startups in partnership with eTohum, a program which aims to introduce entrepreneurs into the marketplace. Startups who want to pitch their ideas are encouraged to sign up at the Invest On Board website.
