Twitter Develops Its Own Cuckoo Clock

Published on .

Twitter UK has teamed up with design firm Berg (developers of products like Little Printer) to create #Flock, its own cuckoo clock. #Flock, which pops out a bird whenever there are new followers, replies and retweets, is the first product to make use of Berg's Cloud Developer Kit which helps designers prototype devices and connect them to the Internet. The kit links an arm mechanism to the owner's Twitter account. It's a neat concept, but the bad news is Twitter is giving away #Flock to just a "handful of people" that "push the creative boundaries".
