The latest interactive campaign for VW Golf and Tribal DDB asks users about their priorities in life and generates a two minute film based on their Facebook data. The site, www.onething.com, asks visitors which things they would take with them if they had to spend the rest of their life in one place. Out of each category, such as favorite food, song or a loved-one, they are allowed to choose just one thing, and these very personal answers are subtly integrated as individual scenes into the story. The spot, directed by Todd Kellstein, and shot in and around Los Angeles, tells a dreamlike story employing atmospheric pictures integrated from the viewer's Facebook account. The One Thing campaign coincides with the release of the new Volkswagen Golf, recently unveiled in Berlin.
