Watch 16 Different Versions Of Bob Dylan Song As You Channel Surf

Published on .

Bob Dylan has released a multimedia video for his legendary 1965 single "Like a Rolling Stone," which features 16 versions of the song being performed as they might appear on different American TV channels. The video, created by digital agency Interlude and produced by Pulse Films and Walter Pictures, lets viewers scroll through the 16 different "TV channels" within the videos they watch -- no one version of the video is the same. The "channels" --- some real and some fictional -- include the History Channel and MTV as well as a kids' channel, a sports channel, a shopping channel, a cooking show and property show. Some feature comedians, actors and actual TV stars, such as "Pawn Stars" from the History Channel, comedian Marc Maron, Jonathan and Drew Scott of "Property Brothers", and Detroit rapper Danny Brown, who all lip-sync the lyrics. It's a very clever idea, and fittingly original for the first ever video version of the song. It coincides with the Columbia/Legacy Recordings release of Dylan's The Complete Album Collection Volume 1.
