Brand Summit is headed to Chicago on May 5. For the event's debut in the Windy City, Ad Age is introducing a new component that will take attendees out of the conference room to experience unique work spaces.
The Brand Summit Excursion is designed to give marketers an intimate glimpse into the collaborative environments of creative companies. In Chicago it will include visits to three organizations: comedy theater company The Second City; tech incubator 1871; and Ad Age's 2015 Small Agency of the Year, O'Keefe Reinhard & Paul.
At The Second City Mainstage Theater, improv professionals will lead an interactive workshop that will give participants the tools they need to communicate more effectively with customers and explore new ways to address brand marketing challenges.
The stop at 1871 will not only include a tour of the digital startup hub, but also conversations with technology and health food entrepreneurs. 1871 CEO Howard Tullman will discuss which tech trends marketers should be tapping into now, and Freshii franchisee Alex Blair and Pay Your Selfie co-founder and Chief Sales Officer Kristen Holman will share how their partnership unlocked key consumer insights.
The Brand Summit Excursion in Chicago will be capped off with cocktails at the offices of O'Keefe Reinhard & Paul.
