The trend at the International Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in recent years has been connecting different devices to each other over the internet: cars, watches, speakers, thermostats, the list goes on.

But as the success of Apple's iPhone (and failure of Microsoft's Windows Phone) has proven, a connected device is only as good as the apps it features. Streaming radio service Pandora is typically among the first apps on any new connected device. So Ad Age asked Pandora's VP-digital Lizzie Widhelm what connected devices she's most excited to check out at this year's CES.
