Cripsin Porter +Bogusky has hired Hoj Jomehri as creative director in its Los Angeles office. He will work with newly appointed L.A. Co-ECD Sue Anderson on the agency's Microsoft account. Jomehri joins from TBWA/Chiat/Day in New York, where he was creative director on Absolut Vodka and helped to relaunch the brand globally with work such as music video Absolut Greyhound. Prior to that, Jomehri worked at AKQA, on campaigns such as the interactive portion of Halo 3: Believe and Nike Lab. He began his career in the film industry, working on production sound.
Isobar, the digital marketing network of Aegis Media, has appointed Nick Bailey as executive creative director of its UK office glue Isobar. Bailey, who joins from AKQA where he has been ECD for the past four years,will report to UK chief executive officer Penny Herriman. At AKQA he worked in both London and Amsterdam, on campaigns including Heineken Star Player. From 2004 to 2008 Nick was at AKQA London as the creative lead on Nike, where he delivered projects including: Run London, Nike Supersonic, Nike Photo iD, Nike Bootcamp, and Nike Live. Prior to AKQA, he was at Oyster Partners (now LBi) working on Mercedes Benz, HBOS, Vodafone, Abbey (Santander), Debenhams, and BT.
Partners + Napier New York has hired Jason Marks as executive creative director. Marks joins from Ogilvy & Mather, where he served as senior partner, group creative director. His appointment follows that of managing director, Andrea Spiegel, former head of marketing at JetBlue. Prior to his three-year stint at Ogilvy, Marks was creative director at R/GA and Crispin Porter + Bogusky, where he led the development of campaigns for brands like Nike, Microsoft, Gap, IBM, Volkswagen, and Coke Zero. He has also worked at MTV Networks as creative director.
