Saatchi & Saatchi, New York has hired Paul Bichler, former group creative director of Droga5, as executive creative director. The agency has also announced that creative team Luca Lorenzini and Luca Pannese (known as Luca & Luca) are moving over from the agency's Milan office to be global creative directors.
Bichler has served as group creative director at Droga5 since February 2013, leading creative for the American Express and Hennessy brands. Before that, he was executive creative director at JWT New York, and a creative director at Bartle Bogle Hegarty and Fallon. Lorenzini and Pannese have worked together since 2000, and are known for their campaigns on behalf of Coordown, the Italian organization that champions the rights of people with Down Syndrome, as well as their work for Toyota, Lexus, T-Mobile, Renault, and Novartis.
Young & Rubicam Chicago has parted ways with Bill Cimino, its chief creative officer since 2012, and promoted Pam Mufson and Jeremy Smallwood from creative directors to co-executive creative directors of the agency. Cimino joined Y&R in October 2012 from DDB Chicago, where he was global creative director on McDonald's. Smallwood and Mufson have worked together as creative partners for 13 years in Chicago, at Leo Burnett, McGarryBowen and Y&R.
DigitasLBi has appionted Ronald Ng as chief creative officer for North America. Ng joins the agency from BBDO & Proximity Singapore, where he served as chief creative officer as well as head of the network's Asia Creative Council. Prior to that, he was at BBDO New York, and before that, BBDO & Proximity Malaysia. His Kinect-powered 2011 installation for Autism Speaks was accepted into the permanent collection at the New York Museum of Modern Art (MOMA). At DigitasLBi, Ng will be based in New York and lead creative teams across all six offices in North America.
Ronnie Lee has joined Wongdoody as associate creative director, one of a number of new hires at the Seattle-based agency. Lee began his career at 42 Entertainment and has worked as a copywriter and associate creative director at Y&R, DigitasLBi, and CHI & Partners, and contributed to campaigns for clients including PBS, TGI Friday, The Los Angeles Dodgers, Southwest Airlines and Samsung. While at DigitasLBi, he helped launch Small Business Saturday with American Express.
Leo Burnett India has appointed Aman Mannan group executive creative director. Mannan will be based at Leo Burnett India's head office in Mumbai and work closely with chief creative officer Raj Deepak Das. Mannan joins from DDB Mudra, where he was executive creative director. Prior to DDB Mudra, he had stints with McCann Erickson and Interface Communications and has worked on brands such as Union Bank of India, Lipton and HBO.
San Francisco based agency Camp + King has hired Namik Minter as a senior integrated producer. She previously worked as an integrated producer at BBDO New York, managing projects for clients including AT&T, FedEx, HBO, M&M'S and Campbell's. She has also worked in independent filmmaking on the other side of the camera, playing the lead in "An Oversimplification of Her Beauty," which debuted at Sundance in 2012.
