Tim Semple has joined Mullen as associate creative director, working on the Acura business from Mullen’s new office in LA. Semple joins from 72andSunny, where he worked on the agency’s Samsung "Fanboys" creative. His additional credits include "Bobble Heads" for the NBA, HP's "Hacking Autism" and Dickies while at Goodby Silverstein. He also worked on Burger King at Crispin. Semple has won at Cannes, One Show and the Art Director’s Club.
Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal + Partners (kbs+) has promoted Vikram Tank to executive director of product, a new position reporting to chief information officer Matt Powell, Tank, who will oversee the agency’s user experience, interaction design and community management teams, has spent three years as director of product development at kbs+ as part of the Spies and Assassins technology practice. In this role, he helped to build new digital products and experiences for clients like PUMA, including The PUMA Factory and the PUMA JoyPad. He also leads the agency’s exploration of new technologies like Google Glass and 3D printing. Before joining kbs+, Tank worked at Microsoft Research where he modeled the spread of links across Twitter.
Sports and entertainment agency Zambezi has promoted Madeleine Grandbois to creative director from associate creative director. As creative director, Grandbois is responsible for direct creative oversight on Champs Sports and glaceau fruitwater. Prior to her new position, she also worked on popchips and Strongbow as ACD.
