Fallon Launches Tokyo Office, and other moves

Fallon last week announced the launch of Fallon/Tokyo, the network's seventh office worldwide. The office will be built on the foundation of local agency gram Advertising, which has partnered with Fallon for the last 15 months to serve the latter's global clients. The new office will be led by gram founders Tamio Koshino, president and chief creative officer, and Mitsuru Kubota, executive vice president and managing partner, along with managing director and representative director Phil Rubel, formerly of McCann-Erickson/Japan. ... Craig Silverman, whose resume includes stints at MVBMS and Red Tettemer, has joined Philadelphia agency SFGT as creative director. ... Director Danny Weisberg, formerly of Zero to Sixty, has signed with San Francisco production company kaboom. ... Freelance editor Derek Ambrosi has joined New York's Broadway Video Editorial.
