French creative duo Fred & Farid have left Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, the pair confirmed late last week. Fred Raillard and Farid Mokart arrived at the San Francisco agency from BBH/London in late 2002 -- following a Gold Lion win for their Xbox commercial "Champagne" -- and went on to create campaigns for Netflix and Pony during their two and a half year tenure at Goodby. The pair declined to discuss their next move. ... Creative veteran Jerry Cronin, who most recently served as chief creative officer at Atlanta agency Brighthouse, has joined Boston agency MMB as partner and co-creative director. ... David Leonard, formerly president and CEO of Arnold Worldwide/Toronto, has been named president of DDB Canada's Toronto office. ... Director Brandon Dickerson has returned to San Francisco-based Kaboom Productions for commercials representation. Since leaving the company in 2002, Dickerson has been repped by Crossroads divisions X-Ray and Merge@Crossroads, the latter of which will continue to represent the director for music videos. ... Animation directors Courtney Booker, Jeff Drew and Aaron Sorenson have joined Portland's Vinton Studios. ... Editors Ben Layman and Nick Wurz have joined Richmond-based editorial company Greybox.
