180 Amsterdam has hired four new creatives, Berlin duo Lucas Schneider and David Kauder and Francesco Grandi and Rachel Kennedy, both Toronto-born. Creative partners Schneider and Kauder met at Heimat Berlin, where they worked on running and soccer campaigns for Adidas, as well as Champions League Final activity for soccer team Bayern Munich. Kauder also spent time at VCCP Berlin, working on campaigns for Nike, BMW and Converse. Grandi joins from Rethink in Toronto, where he worked on campaigns such as the Cannes Lion-winning UberSafe drink driving awareness project. Prior to that he worked at Ogilvy & Mather and TBWA/Toronto. Kennedy started her career at Saatchi & Saatchi Canada, working with companies such as Toyota and Procter & Gamble, as well as pro bono campaigns for Tourette Syndrome Foundation and The Canadian Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity.
Publicis Seattle has appointed James McKenna and Matthew Trego as creative directors working on T-Mobile. McKenna was previously a creative director at TBWA/Chiat/Day in Los Angeles, and has also freelanced for 72andSunny and Saatchi & Saatchi. Trego joins from McKinney, where he was an associate creative director, helping to launch the SEC Network for ESPN. Before that, he was a senior art director at Eleven, and has worked at both Goodby Silverstein & Partners and Ogilvy Brand Integration Group.
180 L.A has hired Dan Kroeger and Wilson Mateos as creative directors. Kroeger most recently was a creative director at Wieden & Kennedy Portland where he worked on Powerade's campaign "Just A Kid," and TurboTax's "The Year of the You." At W &K he also worked with clients including Target, Chrysler, Nike, Facebook, Sony, and EA. Mateos was most recently VP, executive creative director at Fischer America in Sao Paulo and prior to that chief creative officer at CuboCC (an Interpublic Group of Cos.-owned digital agency in Brazil).
Nashville-based Bohan Advertising has promoted Jon Arnold from VP and creative director to SVP and executive creative director..
