Julian Schreiber and Tom Martin have joined NYC-based Johannes Leonardo as executive creative directors, beginning January 20, 2014. The pair join from Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, where they were creative directors. Together they have have won more than 200 awards throughout their career; their most recent awards included 11 Cannes Lions and a Grand Prix. They were co-creators of the National Australia Bank's 'Break Up' campaign which won a Cannes Grand Prix and three Grand Prix Spikes, including the first ever Grand Prix for effectiveness. Prior to their seven years with Clemenger, both held posts at George Patterson Y&R Melbourne.
Minneapolis agency Colle+McVoy has made eight promotions within its creative department. Four are director level. Harlo Petoskey (far left) is elevated to lead UX from senior user experience architect. Dan Jenstad (center left) moves up to interactive associate creative director from senior interactive designer. Chris Gault (center right) is promoted to associate creative director from senior copywriter and Karl Madcharo (right) becomes associate creative director, promoted from senior art director. The other promotions are for Alix Nichols, who is promoted to senior interactive studio artist from interactive designer.; Ryan Wenner, promoted to senior creative developer from creative developer; Derek Kirchoff, promoted to senior creative developer from creative developer, and Max Thorson, promoted to senior creative developer from creative developer.
