Landia, the Buenos Aires-headquartered production house founded by Andy Fogwill, has signed Rodrigo Saavedra, the ex-Mother London Brazilian creative, as its latest director. Saavedra was responsible for global Stella Artois campaigns at Mother including its 2008 Cannes Gold winning Smooth Original films. He left Mother in November, and has already shot a Stella campaign for the agency through Landia, due to launch this month.





72andSunny has hired Nike Mexico's marketing director Josh Mandel as director of strategy. Mandel, who was strategic lead on the Gold Effie-winning Nike Huevos campaign, has also worked at Wieden+Kennedy as strategic planning director for Nike, and at 180 Amsterdam as head of planning, on Adidas. LA-based 72andSunny counts Nike among its clients.




Epoch Films as added Greg Bell, co-founder of Venables, Bell & Partners, to its roster of directors. Bell left the agency, whose clients included HBO, Audi, Intel, Napster, Barclays, and Coca Cola, in 2009 to become a director, following a life-changing snowboarding accident . Epoch Films, based in LA, New York and London, produces films for all forms of media, including commercials, music videos, web content and feature films.




Level Studios has hired Dave McClain as group creative director, based at its LA office. He was previously senior creative director at Blitz in LA working on accounts including Nike, FX Networks, Disney, IZZE and Adobe. Prior to Blitz, McClain was with Razorfish as a senior creative director. His new role at Level, which is part of independent digital marketing agency Rosetta, will be primarily to drive efforts in entertainment, media and gaming.
