Nigel Roberts is leaving CHI & Partners to join Leagas Delaney London, in the role of creative director. Roberts is is a partner and one of four creative directors at CHI, where has worked since 2007. He spent three years at Leagas in the late 90s, producing work for clients including The Guardian. His resume also includes stints at DMB&B, Leagas Delaney, TBWALondon, Ogilvy & Mather and Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, and he has won D&AD Pencils, Cannes Lions and Campaign Press Awards for clients such as Waterstone's and The Big Issue. Leagas Delaney London's clients include Dyson, Prudential and Timberland.




W+K Shanghai has appointed Samantha Culp to the role of creative talent scout, with a brief to help the agency discover and partner with creative talent locally, regionally and internationally. Culp, a California-born writer, curator and consultant, will reach out to web designers, animators, inventors, poets, bloggers and filmmakers among others. Culp has helped to found various cultural projects in China including Embassy Projects, a collaborative studio in Hong Kong's Fo Tan industrial/art district; Cao Fei's RMB City, a large-scale new media art project; and New Territories, an experimental studio for research and production.





Motion Theory has added Guillermo del Toro to its roster as a director of commercials, joining Mathew Cullen, Grady Hall, Jesus de Francisco, Mark Kudsi, Kaan Atilla, Chris Riehl, Syyn Labs and Christopher Leone. The announcment follows the news in December of the launch of Mirada, which Guillermo del Toro co-founded with cinematographer Guillermo Navarro, Cullen and executive producer Javier Jimenez.
