Josh Tavlin has joined Momentum Worldwide 2/1 as executive creative director of the company's New York operation. He will report to global chief strategy and innovation officer Jon Hamm. Taylin joins from Ogilvy where he spent 20 years, most recently as senior v.p., group creative director. He has led both digital and traditional communications for clients including American Express, IBM, SAP, The NY Mets, Hershey, Delta Airlines, Sara Lee, Miller Beer and Kraft. He also teaches new media advertising at the Pratt School of Design.


Stink has signed French directing collective Pleix for worldwide representation. A seven-strong virtual community of digital artists based in Paris, Pleix won a host of awards last year for their death penalty spot for Amnesty International; including Bronze at Cannes Lions, a Grand Prix for Film Craft & Silver for Film at Eurobest, Silver at London International Awards and Silver at the Epica Awards. Their other work includes music videos for Vitalic and Basement Jaxx, and spots for brands including Audi and Duracell.



Cole & Weber United, the Seattle-based agency, has appointed Judy Popky as executive connections director. Popky joins from 22squared in Atlanta, where she was svp, executive media director and managed engagement planning. Prior to that, she worked at Ogilvy-Mather-Advertising' class='directory_entry' title='Ad Age LookBook'>Ogilvy & Mather. She has worked with clients including IBM, Pirelli Tires, Kodak, Lincoln Financial, Buffalo Wild Wings, Triumph Motorcycles and Florida's Natural Orange Juice.
