Beverly Hills-based production company Saville Productions has signed acclaimed movie directors (and New Zealand natives) Christopher Noonan and Vincent Ward for exclusive U.S. commercials representation. Noonan earned an Oscar nomination for “Babe,” while Ward directed the visually-stunning “What Dreams May Come.” … Bi-coastal production company Villains has signed veteran Hollywood and commercials directors David McNally (“Coyote Ugly,” “Kangaroo Jack”), Gary Fleder (“Runaway Jury,” “Don’t Say a Word, “Kiss the Girls”) and Sara Marandi for commercials representation. … Mark Molloy has signed with L.A.-based production company Furlined for U.S. commercials representation. The Aussie director is also repped by Australia-based Exit Films and has directed spots for Nike and Wrangler. … Zosimo Maximo, director of the MTV series “Room Raiders,” has signed with bi-coastal production company The Joneses for exclusive commercials representation. … New York-based animation studio Curious Pictures has named former Commercial Artists Management partner Mary Knox as executive producer of commercials. Knox takes over this role from Curious partner David Starr, who shifts into a new role as executive producer of branded entertainment. Also signing with Curious are directing duo Abraham Spear and Rohitash Rao of Ugly Pictures and animation director James Proimos of award-winning animation studio Buoyant Duck.
