101, creative company set up by the founders of Fallon London, has appointed Johan Dahlqvist (left) as creative director. He was most recently creative director at TBWA / London working on Skittles, Starburst, Twix, PlayStation and Pedigree. Prior to TBWA, Dahlqvist was director at ACNE Film & Digital in New York and Stockholm, senior art director at Wieden & Kennedy Amsterdam and senior art director at Kirshenbaum Bond in San Francisco. He has created and directed campaigns for Nike, Burger King, Nokia, Coca-Cola, EA Games, Heineken and Absolut Vodka. 101 has also hired two creative teams. Fred Wood and Stef Forbes have worked at Mother, JWT, BMB and VCCP on campaigns for Coca-Cola, HSBC, Carling, Google, VW, The Guardian and Boots. Zoe Sys Vogelius and Thomas Ilum worked at Leo Burnett and PublicisCopenhagen for two years before enrolling in Miami Ad School in Hamburg. They have also worked at Leo Burnett Chicago and Y&R New York on placement. Together they have created campaigns for FedEx, Hallmark, IKEA and McDonald's and have been awarded by D&AD, Clio, Cannes Future Lions and Andy Awards and named Students of the Year by Young Guns and ADC Germany.



LA-based production company Trio Films has added writer/ director Debra Granik, Oscar-nominated for her film Winter's Bone, to its commercial roster. Winter's Bone was nominated for four Oscars, including Best Picture, in 2011 and won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. Granik and co-writer Anne Rosellini were Oscar-nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay. Granik, who also won the Best Director prize at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival with her film Down To The Bone, is currently preparing a documentary on US Veterans in the South.


McCann Worldgroup has acquired UK-based interactive design shop AllofUs. AllofUS is led by co-founders Nick Cristea, design director; Orlando Mathias, director of R&D; Simon Sankarayya (Sanky), art director; and Phil Gerrard, business director. Formed in 2003, AllofUs has worked for media and entertainment clients such as the BBC, BSkyB, Canal+ and XBox and technology clients including Nokia, Microsoft Corporation and Yota. It will retain its branding as it joins McCann Worldgroup's UK operations.


Chicago-based Radar Studios has promoted Steven Gray to creative director. Gray, who joined Radar in 2006, will be the point person for animation and design projects. He has recently worked on campaigns for Samsung's Galaxy S smartphone and Galaxy Tab, as well as spots for NASCAR and McDonaldʼs. Radar has also promoted 3D Artist Mark Angres to head up its 3D department. Angres joined the team in 2003, and has done 3D work for Airheads, McDonald's and Hasbro.
