Los Angeles-based 740 Sound Design & Mix has promoted Andrew Tracy to the position of lead mixer/sound designer. Tracy (left) has designed sounds for commercials for brands including AT&T, Chevy, Nintendo, Intel, Google, and Audi since joining the 740 team in 2008. Recent work includes audio mixing on Volkswagen's "Rocking Out"; sound design for EBay's "Pony"; and sound design for PlayStation's "Battle Royale". His previous role will be filled by Rommel Molina (right).



Production company The Colony added Angela Bowen as executive producer and Sharon Lew as the company's director of new business. Previously repped by B-Reel films, the Colony is expanding into a full service production company, along with its New York design/VFX sister company Afterparty. Bowen was previously EP at Psyop and Massmarket New York, while Lew was formerly EP at Crossroads Films. She will continue in her position as EP and head of new business at New York's Kyle Edit, with opportunities for collaboration between the two companies.




Los Angeles post house Therapy signed sound design Eddie Kim. Kim, who spent seven years at 740 Sound Design, has worked on ad campaigns for agencies like Saatchi & Saatchi, Wieden & Kennedy and BBDO NY, and has worked with directors including Dante Ariola, Stacy Peralta and Stacy Wall. He worked on Kia's Super Bowl spot, "A Dream Car," out of D&G and "Everyone" for Metlife, out of Goodby.



Vancouver's Dare promoted Addie Gillespie and Mia Thomsett to Associate Creative Directors. Both joined the agency in May 2011, and have had their work recognized by the One Show Interactive, Applied Arts, Marketing, Communication Arts and the ADCC.

Dexton Deboree, managing director of bi-coastal creative production studio Stardust has joined forces with FUEL founder and creative pioneer Seth Epstein to buy the company and relaunch it. The motion graphics production company will continue to expand its New York and Los Angeles presence.
