Director Emil Moller has signed to the U.S. roster of B-Reel films. Moller, a Swedish native, had been a protégé of director Fredrik Bond and has shot spots for Telia, Transport for London, Levis, BeeTV, And1 and others. Moller was previously repped out of Prettybird in the States and directs out of Sonny London in the U.K.
Director Justin Francis has joined Hello for commercial, integrated and music video representation. Alicia Keys, Weezer, Mariah Carey, Black Eyed Peas and Modest Mouse are among the artists Francis has directed clips for. He moves from HSI and has also shot spots for M&M's, adidas, Target and Gilette. Francis had been a member of directing collective the Saline Project, out of which he co-directed work for The Cure, Eminem and Gwen Stefani, among others.
Writer/director Annie Sloan has signed to Teak for exclusive representation. Sloan's directing oeuvre includes spots for JanSport, EA, HGTV and Northstar, out of agencies like Eleven, Organic and Creature. As a writer, she's also worked on projects for GE and Flip Camera, as well as TV shows like Curb Appeal, Find Your Style and Designed to Sell.
Motion designer Mark Bellncula has joined Blind. The 20-year vet's portfolio includes work for MTV, HP, Avon, BET, Snapple, SKYY Vodka and Comedy Central, for which he earned a BDA for his work on South Park's 10th anniversary, as well as his efforts on the network's 2005 redesign.
Original Film has signed two new directors, Brent Jones and Kevin Ward. Jones' reel includes spots for BMW, McDonalds, DirecTV and Bridgestone. He recently shot a Nissan spot for Zimmerman, Florida. Ward, whose specialty is action, started out as a stuntman/stunt driver before becoming a cinematographer and then, director.
