BBDO New York recently named three new ECDs to the agency. Mathias Appelblad (pictured) joined the agency from Forsman and Bodenfors, where he worked as interactive creative director and earned Cannes Grand Prix and One Show Gold, for clients like IKEA and JC Clothes. Toygar Bazarkaya come aboard after serving as CCO at BBDO Dusseldorf, where he worked on Gold Lion-winning work for Mercedes and P&G. Ralph Watson joins the agency after working as SVP/CD and head of art at Saatchi, New York.
Ten-year Farfar vet Per Hansson has moved to Canada to become creative director at Vancouver digital shop Blast Radius. Hansson, who last served as Farfar digital director, also had several titles under his belt while at the agency, from graphic designer and flash designer, to motion designer and partner.
Multi-disciplinary directing team The Colony, aka director David Gaddie (pictured) and VFX supervisor James Rogers, have signed to B-Reel Films. The Colony is based in New York.
H5, the graphic design and motion direction collective behind Logorama, which was recently nominated for an Oscar, has signed to Stink for worldwide representation.
