R/GA is expanding its social team with three new hirings. Jason Chan and Ryan McLaughlin join as directors, and Jonny Sabbath as associate director. Chan (left) was previously strategy director at Blast Radius, leading accounts including Nike, BMW, Microsoft, and Starbucks. McLaughlin joins from Initiative Los Angeles, where he led social strategy on brands including Hyundai, Kia, and Dr. Pepper. Sabbath was previously director of social media at William Morris Endeavor.
Acne Production, the Stockholm-based production company, is opening an Acne Digital office in Berlin. It will run the office in conjunction with Germany production company Tempomedia. Acne also has an office in Los Angeles, and has worked on campaigns for the likes of Audi, Saab, Intel and Bosch.
