AKQA has hired Sung Chang as the creative lead for Verizon Wireless, for which AKQA has been named a strategic digital partner. Chang, who will be based in AKQA's New York office and report into chief creative officer Rei Inamoto, was most recently executive creative director, senior partner at Ogilvy & Mather worldwide, leading all creative for Motorola, Nestle and Castrol EDGE. Prior to his eight-year tenure at Ogilvy, he worked at Red Sky Interactive, with clients such as Sony, Nike, Kraft, Time Warner and PaineWebber. He also helped pioneer interactive TV at NBC Television's Enhanced Broadcast Group. He has earned awards including Cannes Lions, Effies and CLIOs, and taught architecture and studio classes at Columbia University and the Miami Ad School.

Lucky Post, a new post company combining creative editorial, graphic design, compositing, sound design, audio mixing, and creative finish has opened in Dallas. The post house is a sister company to production companies Directorz and Lucky Twenty One.
Razorblade Films has signed its first US-based director, Dan Mirvish, for exclusive commerical representation in India. In addition to his short-form commercial and music video work, Mirvish is best known as a feature director, whose newest film "Between Us", starring Julia Stiles, is currently in post-production. A co-founder of the Slamdance Film Festival, Mirvish is also a bestselling author. Mirvish is managed in the US by Provocation Entertainment.
