Curious Pictures has signed director Randy Roberts to its roster. Roberts recently wrapped his first project with the New York and L.A.-based company, a package of live action spots with heavy visual effects and CGI to launch the new coconut-flavored version of SoBe. Roberts began his career as an illustrator and graphic designer before joining visual effects and computer graphics studio Robert Abel & Associates in L.A. and then spending 15 years at Rhythm + Hues. Since leaving R+H in 2005 he has been represented by Radium and Safe House.

Production house and record label Decon has appointed publishing, music and TV veteran Sacha Jenkins to its team to work on its ad business as well as its music division. Prior to joining Decon, Jenkins spent a decade as an independent TV producer, creating original programs for networks such as MTV, VH1 and Cartoon Network. He co-founded hip hop creative team ego trip, worked as a writer for Spin and Rolling Stone magazines, and served as music editor for Vibe. He is also known for projects including the recent re-launch of Mass Appeal magazine, executive producing and creating ego trip's The White Rapper Show television series (VH1), co-authoring Eminem's The Way I Am biography with Marshall Mathers, and producing a series of fine art books under his own SHR Airlines imprint with Prestel.

Director/DP Mark Williams has returned to L.A.-based Mirror Films after two years. Williams was previously with Mirror from 2009-2010 before joining Caviar. He has directed work for clients including Chevrolet, Coca-Cola, Microsoft and Chevron, and recently wrapped Eastbound & Down for HBO.
