Palumbo has been responsible for steering production on major spots and campaigns for clients like Travelers, BMW, Virgin Mobile, alamo and more. Prior to Fallon, he was a senior producer at Wieden + Kennedy and worked on much celebrated Nike spots like "Move," "Magnet," and "Freestyle." Palumbo's duties at Deutsch will be managing broadcast and digital production, broadcast traffic and business affairs. He will also oversee the agency's in-house editorial department, Mr. Editorial.




Droga5 Sydney's Cameron Blackley (right) and Matty Burton have been promoted to creative directors. The pair has helped to build up the agency's Australian office since joining from Droga5 New York in 2008, steering campaigns like the relaunch of Victoria Bitter. Together they have collected Cannes Grand Prix and Titanium Lions, D&AD Black Pencils and more, for projects like Million and VB's "Raise a Glass." Blackley had joined Droga5's New York office in 2006 as head of art, after serving in the same position at Publicis London. His previous jobs also include positions at AMV BBDO and Grey Melbourne. Burton joined Droga5 Sydney after working at the New York office. His previous agencies also include Saatchi & Ssatchi New Zealand, TBWA, DDB and The Glue Society.

Art Directors Club CEO Ami Brophy has resigned from the organization. Her departure results from the ADC's elimination of the fulltime CEO position, as part of new organizational changes. The ADC board had voted to make management of all the organization's programming and member services the responsibility of a yet-to-be named executive director who will report to the board. The new structure also calls for all ADC staff to work with the board via committees and communicate regularly with board members for direction and support on iss like awards and membership. ADC general manager Olga Grisaitis will oversee ADC operations as acting director until the ADC finds an executive director.

Director Jeff Labbe has joined the roster of Little Minx for U.S. representation. The former creative is also represented out of Sonny London for U.K. work and directed the Cannes and D&AD-winning Barnardos campaign, "Believe in Children," as well as Levi's "Secrets and Lies" spot.

Longtime HSI director Gerard de Thame has joined to Believe Media for commercials representation. He comes on board with Fabyan Daw, his producer and MD of Gerard de Thame Films in London. De Thame's body of work includes classic spots like Volkswagen's "Synchronicity" and more recent efforts for Travelers and Hyundai.

Creatives-turned directors Margaret Elman & Joy Kilpatrick, aka Margaret&Joy, have joined The Sweet Shop for commercials representation. The tabletop directors first met as creative directors at Euro RSCG in New York and then continued on to McGarry Bowen. Together they had created many food-focused spots for brands like Nestle and Kraft.





Director Markus Walter has joined the roster of Anonymous Content. Walter was previously repped out of Go Film and is best known for his car work for brands like Mercedes, Audi, Honda, Land Rover, but his oeuvre covers a broad range of categories, with spots for EA Sports, Coca-Cola, Ikea, EA Sports, Bank of America and more.
