Deutsch LA has hired Shannon McGlothin, former creative director at CP&B, as executive vice president, group creative director. McGlothin will partner with EVP, group creative director Jason Elm on the PlayStation and Diamond Foods accounts, and will report to partner and chief creative officer Mark Hunter. He was most recently at CP+B in Boulder, where he led creative on the Coke Zero account. Prior to that, he spent over six years at Wieden + Kennedy working on brands including Nike, Coca-Cola, LVMH, and Electronic Arts. He was also part of the creative team behind the Livestrong campaign for Nike, which won awards including the Grand Prix for Integrated Branding at Cannes in 2010.
Savage has signed Dutch collective PostPanic for representation in North America, expanding its relationship outside of Europe. Based in Amsterdam, PostPanic's work has focused on live action, motion graphics, visual effects and 2d/3d animation with projects including 3D projection spots for clients including Mattel 'HotWheels'. Core members include co-founder Mischa Rozema and Chris Staves, who directs and also heads up the in-house VFX team. Staves was a former partner and director at Psyop (New York) as well as creative director and founder of both Mass Market (New York) and Method (Los Angeles).
