L.A. based studio Duck has added director Knife Party (aka Simon Robson) to its roster. Based in Sydney, Australia, he will focus on ad campaigns, full-length feature films, and cause-based special projects. Knife Party's recent projects include animated work in a spot for MasterCard, a trailer for the SBS series Immigration Nation, a live action spot for Australian telecom brand Telstra and a trio of NBC Universal spots promoting sustainable living which featured both 2D line-art animation and live-action footage. Other short-form work includes spots for Adidas, Nike and Save the Children. His long-form work includes the animated film Coalition of the Willing, animation for the Chris Atkins feature film Taking Liberties, and the 2003 film What Barry Says. He has been shortlisted for The British Design of The Year Award and nominated for a BAFTA.





Cut+Run has signed two neweditors, Graham Turner in Los Angeles and Dan Maloney in New York. Both editors are available to work via any Cut+Run location: Los Angeles, New York, London and Hong Kong, as well as on location. Turner (left) joins Cut + Run after six years at Final Cut and just over four years at Mad River. He has worked on the K-Swiss 'Kenny Powers' campaign, Nike's 'Chosen' spot directed by Lance Acord, and the Audi 'Riot Suppressor' spot directed by Bryan Buckley. Maloney was an editor at Spotwelders for three years following his six years at The Whitehouse. He has worked on commercials including Prudential's 'Sunrise Institutional' directed by Ringan Ledwidge, Microsoft 'Drums' directed by Henrik Sundgren, and Avis 'The Race' directed by Speck/Gordon.







Leo Burnett Group Thailand has promoted Sompat Trisadikun from executive creative director to chief creative officer. In his new role, Trisadikun is responsible for the creativity of the group, which includes Leo Burnett, Arc Worldwide and Alpha 245. He has served as president of Bangkok Art Directors' Association and Chairman of judging panel of Adman Thailand, and serving as a juror at Cannes Lions, London International Awards, New York Festival International Advertising, Awards Australia, and AdFest. Last year, he led The Leo Burnett Group Thailand to win the Agency of the Year award at Adman 2011 and brought back the first ever Cyber Lion for Thailand from Cannes Lion Festival.
