David Lee has moved from his role as worldwide digital executive creative director to head up creative at website publishing firm Squarespace.com. He joins the New York- based company as chief creative officer, overseeing design aspects of the company's work. At TBWA, where he spent three years, Lee was also president and chief creative officer of Pilot.is, a service design and technology group within the network. Earlier in his career, Lee worked as a creative director at Wieden+Kennedy and AKQA, and as an art director at Sid Lee.
Digital production and design studio Big Block has signed director and cinematographer Gavin Bowden for representation. Bowden's work includes recent commercial campaigns for Ford, Toyota, GMC and Chevy out of such agencies as JWT, Saatchi LA and NY, Y&R, BBDO and Campbell-Ewald. He has also directed commercials for Michelob Ultra, Nike, Target, 7UP and Levis for TBWA, Ogilvy, BBDO International and Wieden+Kennedy. He has also shot music videos for groups including the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
Fin Design + Effects in Sydney, Australia has appointed Kim Wildenburg as executive producer / business development. She has worked with Psyop for the last six years in Los Angeles, New York & Sydney, and prior to that with companies such as Method Studios Los Angeles, Paranoid US, MassMarket LA & NY and Resolution Design. She has worked with clients such as Coca Cola, Nike, Hummer, Gatorade, Audi, Toyota, Microsoft, Google, GAP, Budweiser, Telstra and Bundaberg.
GSD&M has promoted Paul Gallardo to executive producer. Gallardo first came to the Austin-based agency in 1999and has served in roles including senior digital producer, interactive producer and senior project manager. His agency brand experience consists of the U.S. Air Force, NAMCO BANDAI, Lennox, AT&T, and Crown Imports accounts, among others. Prior to his time at GSD&M, Gallardo was senior producer at Schematic where he led the Dell enterprise business.
