Ghost Robot has signed Australian director Kris Moyes for exclusive US representation and for music videos in the UK. Moyes' work includes commercials for brands including Cadbury, Schweppes, LG, Lacoste and Honda as well as music videos for Sia, Hercules & Love Affair, Beck, Cut Copy, The Presets and Franz Ferdinand. He has also directed and co-written a satirical short film, City Limits.

BBDO San Francisco has appointed Ricard Valero as associate creative director, reporting to executive creative director Mike McKay. He joins the agency from DDB Milan in Italy where he was a senior art director, and has previously held positions at Y&R Milan, Armando Testa and Euro RSCG Madrid. Valero will work on creative across a wide range of BBDO SF accounts, including Mars Pet, Vail Resorts, Harrah's Casino, Goodwill, Henkel, Comcast Sports Network, Gallo and the San Francisco SPCA.

Critical Mass, the Omnicom-owned digital marketing agency based in Calgary, has hired Jared Folkmann and Christiaan Welzel from Montreal-based creative shop, Sid Lee as a strategic-creative team. Folkmann will join Critical Mass as planning director, while Welzel will serve as associate creative director. Both will be charged with driving the digital strategy and creative for the Clorox account.
