Venables Bell & Partners has launched vbp orange, a brand innovation consultancy that will offer brand strategy, concept and experiential design, as well as new product development and idea solutions to both new and existing VB&P clients. vbp orange will be led by Harlan Kennedy, director of strategy, Blake Bakken, design director and Colleen McGee, director of brand development. Kennedy (pictured, center) is a seven-year VB&P veteran who has served as the strategic lead on Barclays, iShares, ConocoPhillips, Nestea, PG&E, Siebel Systems and Russell Investments. McGee (left) has over 12 years of agency experience both at VB&P (on Audi and HBO in particular) and Arnold Worldwide. Bakken (right) has been with VB+P eight years, and during has career has worked with clients including Audi, Intel, HBO, eBay, Barclays, ConocoPhillips and Google. vbp orange has already begun working with clients including Audi of America, The March of Dimes, Media X at Stanford University, Zero1 and Fineco.
Harpoon Pictures, the NY based production company, has added director Alejandro Toledo to its roster for exclusive US spot representation. Toledo's work includes spots for Fiat, Mercedes, Nissan, BMW, Lexus, Stella Artois, Nike and Kodak and Sabra.
Denver-based agency Cactus has hired Brooke Warren as senior broadcast producer on all its accounts, which include Denver Zoo, Colorado Lottery, Smashburger, Charter Media, Dish Network and Jackson Hole. Previously Warren was senior integrated content producer at The Integer Group, Denver.
