Red Car has signed Keith Olwell to its editorial roster. Olwell is co-founder of New York editing house and content creation shop Proton and the author of a recent report on how advertising works on our close primate relative, the capuchin monkey, which was unveiled at Cannes. The study was covered in the New Scientist, on Fox News and other media outlets as well as in Ad Age. Proton will remain open for advertising assignments from new clients, as well as existing clients such as Google.
Heat, the San Francisco-based agency, has hired Anderson Oliveira as creative technologist, a new position. His responsibilities will include online advertising, website development and application campaigns for Bank of the West, EA Sports and other agency accounts. Previously, Oliveira was lead technologist at Eleven, on clients including Apple, Virgin America and Calloway Golf.
Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness has hired Augusta Duffey as group creative director, focusing on elevating digital work across all accounts. Duffey was formerly an associate creative director for Euro RSCG where she led the creative development on campaigns for Volvo, Schering Plough and Lending Tree. Duffey began her career in design, working for MTV and Pentagram, then worked for advertising agencies such as O&M and Razorfish as well as freelancing for Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners.
