JWT New York today has appointed Lisa Gatto Setten as head of production. Reporting to Mike Geiger, president, chief integration officer, JWT North America, Setten joins JWT from BBH New York, where she served as head of broadcast production, overseeing all aspects of moving image production and in-house post-production for the agency's New York and Los Angeles–based clients. Work included Google's "Dear Sophie" and Chrome "Speed Tests," Axe's "Susan Glenn" and "Balls," and Smirnoff's "Tea Partay". Other client experience includes Ally Bank, Baileys, British Airways, Cadillac, Johnnie Walker, Levi's, LG, Sprite, UNICEF, Vaseline and The Weather Channel. Prior to joining BBH, Setten was a freelance senior producer at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, working on multiple HP campaigns.





Hungry Man has added director Richard de Aragues to its roster. De Aragues spent part of last year completing and promoting his 3D Feature Documentary film "TT3D: Closer to the Edge" about the greatest and most unique motorcycle race in the world, which takes place on the Isle of Man. It was nominated as Best Documentary by the British Independent Film Awards.





The Martin Agency has made several new creative hires. Justin Bajan, copywriter comes to the agency from David&Goliath, where he was also a copywriter working on Kia, Carl's Jr., Hardee's, Universal Studios and the California Lottery. His Super Bowl Kia spot "Sandman" won a gold pencil at the 2012 One Show.
Deb Hagan has been a freelancer at the agency for two years and is joining full-time as svp/creative director on the Walmart team. She previously worked at Walmart, serving as senior director of creative, and has also worked at TBWA Chiat/Day, Fallon McElligott, BBDO/West and Ammirati & Puris.
Magnus Hierta joins the agency as a creative director in Running With Scissors, its in-house post-production unit. His career has been spent as a freelance designer, animator and artdirector in Los Angeles.
Nik Piscitello joins as associate creative director/art director from TBWA/Chiat Day, L.A. He has also worked with Team One and AKQA and won a Gold Lion in 2012 for his Nissan/Playstation mashup "GT Academy."











Tool has added designer Michael Sevilla as associate creative director to its in-house interactive team. Sevilla has handled projects for clients such as Converse and the NBA. He played an integral role in establishing Maven Creative, a start-up design and development studio. He also worked as art director at Tombras Group, where he secured two national ADDY gold awards and numerous local golds and best-of-show prizes.





VFX company Chemical has added executive producer Jennifer Mersis and creative director Tony Smoller to its team. Mersis has worked as a producer at David&Goliath, Traffic and Mullen, working on KIA, Mitsubishi, Ad Council and other national brand campaigns. Smoller is formerly founder/creative director of PublicVFX where he worked intimately with campaigns for Farmers Insurance (Dayton/Faris), Hyundai (Wes Anderson, Tim Godsil and Noam Murro) Lincoln (Lance Acord), Mercedes (Sean Thonson) and Nike (Stacy Wall).He was also a creative executive at Paramount Studios.





Cut+Run has hired Deanne Mehling as executive producer at its San Francisco office. Mehling was most recently the EP of Arcade and has worked for such companies as Chrome, Jigsaw, and Satellite Films.
