Hybrid Edit has signed creative editor Adam Epstein for commercial representation. Epstein is known for his editorial work on Saturday Night Live over the past three seasons, working for the SNL Film Unit along with director Rhys Thomas (of Skunk/US) and Jim Signorelli. He also edits, writes and produces for TV and cable clients including Comedy Central, Discovery Channel, and Sundance. His recent work includes SNL's 'Real Housewives of Disney', spots for Hampton Inn, and a series of short films for designer /director Stefan Sagmeister. He started his career at Stun Creative as a producer and editor, before moving into commercials via Red Car, Los Angeles.





Creative Artists Agency has signed Perth-based filmmaker team Henry Inglis, Aaron McCann and Lauren Elliott. The trio is responsible for 'It's A Snap!', a digital short created for Perth's Central Institute of Technology. Last month, the two-minute short achieved over one million YouTube hits in one weekend and has been featured on websites including Time Magazine.com, The Huffington Post, Vancouver Sun, Reddit and Gizmodo.





Toronto-based post-production, design and animation studio The Juggernaut has appointed Nick Goso as creative director. Goso was most recently creative director at Igloo VFX and a director at Spy Films. He is also is a faculty member in the Design Department at OCAD University, where he is an advisor to fourth-year thesis students and teaches the short film module for the Executive Master's Degree in Advertising.





Digital design studio Layer One Media has opened an office in Chicago, hiring Kim Alpert as creative strategist. Alpert was recently creative director at advertising and design boutique Sparkfactor in Chicago where she worked for six years, and prior to that worked with companies such as Leo Burnett and Blue Man Productions. Layer One clients and brands includeDean & DeLuca, GE Healthcare, Kohler, Sargento, Seattle's Best and Subzero.





Minneapolis-based creative agency Knock has promoted two members of its creative team. Sara Nelson and Dan Weston now have the new title of vice president, creative director. Nelson has been at Knock for five years, and was previously at Target for eight years as senior art director for home and creative manager for internal communications. Weston joined Knock two years ago as creative director. His experience includes 12 years at Target working in the branding, beauty and fashion areas.
