RPA has made four promotions within its creative department, promoting Tom Hamling to VP, creative director, Ken Pappanduros to creative director, and Hobart Birmingham and Perrin Anderson each to associate creative director. Hamling joined the RPA team as a freelancer in 2010 and worked on campaigns for Farmers Insurance and Newport Beach Film Festival as well as work for Sprite, Lego, Sony and Got Milk?, while Birmingham joined in 2006 and created the 'Everybody Knows Somebody Who Loves a Honda' concept. Anderson, who joined in 2005, has also worked on Honda, including the recent CR-V 'Forecast' and Accord 'Through It Al' spots while Pappanduros, who joined recently, has worked on the 'Leap List' campaign for the CR-V that included Super Bowl spot "Matthew's Day Off".
Jason Ambrose is returning to CP+B in the role of creative director. Ambrose, who will be based in the agency's Los Angeles office, was with CP+B as a senior art director for five years up until 2007. Most recently, he spent four years at Venice-based agency M.A.D.E., where as creative director, he led work on Patron Racing, the American LeMans Series, as well as repositioning Rubio's Fresh Mexican Grill. Prior to that, Ambrose worked as a senior art director at 180 Los Angeles. His work has been recognized by the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, the One Show, the Andys, the Clios, the OBIEs, and El Sol in Spain.
Documentary and feature film directors Tarik Saleh and Erik Gandini have signed to Henrik Henrik Film, founded in 2009 by producer Henrik Eriksson and director Henrik Hallgren, for global representation. Saleh and Gandini are the founders of the independent film production company Atmo and have worked on films, documentaries, TV series and music videos as well as ad campaigns. This is the first extension of Henrik Henrik's roster.
