Mother London has signed Feh Tarty as creative director on the Ikea account, which the agency won in January. Tarty will start his new post next month. He was most recently a CD at Wieden + Kennedy, where he worked on Honda, Nokia, Lactofree and Nestea. Prior to Wieden, Tarty was at Goodby, where he worked on Comcast, Starbucks, Commonwealth Bank of Australia and the Got Millk? campaign.
Stuart Smith will be returning to Wieden + Kennedy New York as head of planning, to fill the post recently vacated by Neal Arthur, who was promoted to managing director. Smith was head of planning at the agency's London office from 2003 and 2008. Most recently, Smith worked for two years as director of planning at Google Creative Lab.
BBH New York group creative director Todd Riddle will be leaving the agency to work on personal projects, which include an award-winning screenplay in creative development and an album set for Fall 2010 release.
The Ebeling Group has signed creative collective BooLab. The team of artists, directors and visual engineers was behind the recent We Can Help Us "Cotton" film and the show open for the 16th annual Slamdance Film Festival.
