Mullen has hired Jeff Da Silva and Jon Ruby as associate creative directors. They were most recently co-associate creative directors at Proximity/BBDO in Toronto where they worked on M&M's, Pepsico, Doritos, Diageo and Alka-Seltzer. Their work for M&M's garnered them three Bronze Lions at Cannes. Prior to that, da Silva worked at Tribal DDB, Organic and McCann, while Ruby has experience at Holland Mark and Publicis NY.





Brand New School has appointed Justin Fines to its East Coast studio as associate creative director. Fines has been running his own design studio, DEMO since 2006 and was previously an art director at Pysop. He has also been Visiting Professor of Communications Design at the Pratt Institute. His designs, including snowboards for Rome and Burton, and apparel and graphics for Adidas and Nike, have been honored by design institutions and publications worldwide.





Director Bob Morrow has joined the roster at Los Angeles-based A Common Thread, where he recently completed a package of branded web shorts for Palmolive featuring Iron Chef Cat Cora. Prior to joining A Common Thread, Morrow was a creative director at Bernstein-Rein, the Kansas City, Missouri-based retail branding agency; he has worked on clients including McDonald's, NetZero, and SunCom Wireless.
