Four former Wieden + Kennedy creatives have teamed up to launch We are Pi, a new creative shop in Amsterdam. Jamie Kim, Rick Chant, Barney Hobson and Alex Bennett-Grant, who are all partners, have previously worked on brands including Electronic Arts, Coca-Cola, Nike, Nestle and Microsoft. The agency has been in beta for several months and has already picked up new clients Deloitte, Lego, Bread & Butter, TEDx and Habitat For Humanity. In a statement, We are Pi says its shared vision is 'to create shared value between brands and their fans'.








Deutsch New York has appointed Adam Chapman as SVP, director of creative technology. His brief will be to enhance technology strategy across all agency accounts, reporting to partner and chief creative officer, Greg DiNoto. Most recently, Chapman was an integrated creative director at Saatchi & Saatchi LA, working on campaigns for Toyota. Prior to that, he held art direction and lead engineering posts at Ogilvy, R/GA and Digitas, designing and developing content for clients including IBM, DHL, Verizon, Johnson & Johnson, Lowes, Motorola, and American Express.

Goodby Silverstein & Partners has hired Ralph Watson, formerly of BBDO New York, as executive creative director and associate partner at its Detroit office. His role will be to expand the office's portfolio and he will also share the creative leadership on the Chevrolet account. At BBDO New York, Watson served as executive creative director on the AT&T business. Previously, he spent three years at Saatchi & Saatchi New York as creative director on Miller Brewing, Wendy's and General Mills Fruit Snacks. An art director by training, he has also had experience at Arnold, Team One and GSD&M.





The Works, the London-based music and sound company, has set up an office in New York's Madison Avenue. The Works has been producing music for the UK advertising industry for over seven years. Its work has included producing original compositions and re-recordings and negotiating music licenses for numerous agencies and brands including: Innocent Super Fruit for RKCRY&R, T-Mobile for Saatchi & Saatchi, HSBC for J Walter Thompson, Mini ads for Hungryman and most recently Sony's brief for the global rebranding of Playstation. To mark its US opening, The Works is offering every new US-based client a free demo or music search until the end of 2011.

Director Adam Parry has joined Passion Pictures for worldwide representation. Parry, who has worked with graphics, typography, animation and live-action, has done a multi-media event for Burberry's launch of a Beijing store, in collaboration with passion pictures. Parry has studied at the London College of Communication and worked on commercials and graphics for teleision in Hamburg and Amsterdam. He also led the in-house design department at Framestore and was creative director at Superfad's London office.

ACNE Production has added Australian director Samuel Bennetts to its US roster. Bennetts has just wrapped production with Goodby, Silverstein and Partners SF for Commonwealth Bank and has worked for brands including VW, McDonald's and Canon. He is relocating to Los Angeles in the coming months. As well as L.A., where it recently moved and now occupies the Venice 'Green Loft' building on Rose Avenue, ACNE Production has additional offices in Stockholm & Berlin.
