Pat Stern has returned to R/GA as ECD on the Walmart account. He was last at the agency as a CD from 2002 to 2003 on the Nike account. Stern previously at 10x, a website development company for startups, which he co-founded with Eric Liftin, founder of MESH Architectures. Stern had also launched full-service agency Workshop with former Cliff Freeman partner/founder Arthur Bijur and director David McNamara. Before that, Stern also served as ECD at Euro RSCG Worldwide, where he worked on the Dos Equis account, including the "Most Interesting Man" campaign and on Kraft, Charles Schwab, Jaguar and Volvo. He also worked as a digital creative director on Apple at TBWA/Chiat/Day Media Arts Lab and as a GCD at the N.Y. office of Organic.








Menno Kluin has added the title of Head of Art at Y&R New York. He adds the new post to his current role as associate creative director. Prior to Y&R, Kluin worked at Saatchi & Saatchi New York on clients like like General Mills, JC Penney, Folgers, Crest and Tide and was named the most awarded AD in 2007 in Creativity's annual awards report.









Rob Thorsen rejoins Mother as global business director. He moves from BBDO, where he was EVP, Sr, director on The Economist, Hyatt and others. At Mother he will lead on Stella Artois and Powerade, reporting to both Mother London and New York. During his first stint at Mother, Thorsen had managed accounts like Coke, LVMH and Miller.








Trailer Park has signed motion graphics vets Darren Jaffe and Clarissa Donlevy. Jaffe was previously at Brand New School and will serve as director of motion graphics and Donlevy, who moves from Prologue Films, signs on as creative director, motion graphics. The pair now lead the TP Motion Graphics Group and will serve all divisions of the company, delivering for brands via goodness Mfg and for theater, TV, gaming and other clients.





Brickyard VFX has signed Jeff Blodgett as Santa Monica executive producer. Blodgett comes from Radium/ReelFX, where he spent five years as an EP, on brands like Nike, Pepsi, Target, Lexus and others.
