London digital and social creative agency Work Club has appointed three new hires to its team. Tom McCoy and Tom Sneddon join the Club as account directors alongside Ben Phillips who joins as senior strategist. McCoy joins from Skive Creative where he spent two years leading the Carlsberg Global digital account through its UEFA EURO 2012 sponsorship. Sneddon, previously at glue Isobar, led the digital account for the Guardian's launch of its "Three little pigs" brand work. Phillips was formerly at EHS 4D, as lead strategist on Peugeot Worldwide.
Wigwam, a new London-based production company, has launched and signed various directors for UK representation. They include German directors Aleksander Bach and Mathaus Bussmann, Sebastian Reed of Camp David Film, Terence Neale, creator of current work for Die Antvoord, and Doug Pray, who has directed a spot for Samsung Galaxy Note.
Montreal-based visual effects company Rodeo FX has launched an advertising division, appointing Andre U. Montambeault as creative director, senior flame artist and colorist. Montambeault reports to Benoit Touchette, who serves as VP of the Advertising Division. Montambeaulthe has worked as a creative director/senior flame artist with Montreal's Buzz Image Group, where he was involved with advertising campaigns for Coors Light, Bell, Pepsi, Cirque du Soleil and Bud Light. He has also worked as a digital artist on numerous feature films.
