Saatchi & Saatchi Australia has appointed Damon Stapleton as executive creative director. Stapleton joins from BWA/Hunt/Lascaris in Johannesburg. There, as ECD since 2006, he led the team which created The Trillion Dollar campaign for exiled newspaper The Zimbabwean, which won more than 63 awards worldwide. He also produced work for BMW, Nissan, Heineken, MTN, Standard Bank, Visa, YFM, Independent Electoral Commission, Jameson and the World Cup 2010 campaign for Adidas.





MPC has promoted senior colorist Mark Gethin to US creative director of color grading. In his new position, Gethin will lead the creativity and growth of color grading in New York and Los Angeles via MPC's digital infrastructure that allows real-time remote grading in HD. Gethin, who has worked at MPC for four years in its London office, has worked on campaigns for blue-chip clients BMW, Saab, Puma, Honda, Xbox, Coca-Cola, Gatorade and Proctor & Gamble. His work on Halo 3 ODST: The Life earned a British Arrow Award.








New York agency Johannes Leonardo has hired Luca Grelli as creative director, working alongside Aaron Phua who joined earlier this month on clients including Google, Bacardi, Chanel, Coca-Cola and Anheuser-Busch InBev. Grelli most recently worked as a freelancerfor agencies including BBH New York, Wieden + Kennedy in Tokyo, Scholz and Friends in Berlin, Modernista! in Boston and Sid Lee in Montreal. Previously, he spent six years at Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam working on Nike, and two years at 180 Amsterdam working on adidas. Grelli launched his career at Leo Burnett in Milan and later moved to New York to work at JWT and MFP.




London-based director John Yeo has joined Troublemakers.tv for representation in France. His work includes promos for Sky shows including Nip/Tuck and Lost, as well as spots for Trident.
